Structure and Schedule

Overview

The MBA "Health Care Management" is completely modularized and concludes with a Master’s Thesis.  Each of the 16 compulsory modules comprises an attendance schedule of four days, each eight hours in length (one class hour: 45 minutes).  Each of the two elective subjects comprises two days, eight hours per day (of 45 minutes) respectively. The entire MBA – Health Management extends over approx. 21 months with twelve day blocks (each from Thursday to Sunday, or Wednesday to Saturday) and ten weekends (each Saturday and Sunday).

Location

The attendance phases take place in the modern premises of the health care academy situated in the “Haus der Apotheker- und Ärztebank” in Düsseldorf.  The location in Düsseldorf’s north west is within easy reach of all public transportation and offers a great range of accommodations in the near vicinity.

08. Market and management orientation in healthcare institutions and businesses enterprises

Section 3: Health services research as well as human resources

09. Health services research, including evaluation in healthcare
10. Law
11. Personnel management
12. Organizational design and organizational development

Section 4: Health Care Management

14. Selective contracts and modern cooperation I
15. Selective contracts and modern cooperation II
16. Business planning for innovative forms of care in healthcare
